Best Spanish Learning Software
63Good day, my name is Jonathan Holford, I am 32 year old proud dad from Texas Houston. It was funny when my younger daughter came to seek my advice about the best Spanish learning software. Even though I’ve been a software engineer for the past 15 years, I’ve never come across a Spanish learning software before. I’ve been working on data algorithms for Texas instruments which is pretty boring stuff for a normal end user.
Naturally I turned online and started searching for terms like: the best best Spanish language learning software and the best Spanish learning software. I know from fellow software engineers that any type of learning software has to be very interactive. A user can never feel like he’s using a study book when it comes to these types of applications, they HAVE to be fun and engaging otherwise a boring book will have the same effect. So instead of using obvious search queries like ‘ best software for learning Spanish ‘ I started searching for reviews from other software developers and users to see which piece of software has the best reputation. It turned out that Rosetta Stone Version 3 software took the top prizes in all categories. It has a user friendly interface which permits the user to go from the very first step 1 up to step 3. It is an all in one Spanish learning software which allows the user to correct the pronunciation by utilizing a microphone speech recognition (it basically corrects the user if the pronunciation is wrong), improve the conversation Spanish and it even has written exercises as well.
I bought a copy of the software for my daughter and was surprised how easy it was, for her to master Spanish. This software intrigued me and I decided to give it a try myself. From personal experience I can really say that it’s the best Spanish learning software on the market. I also liked that it included audio material which I was able to listen to while driving and doing chores.
Probably the only downside was the price, but it’s well worth it if you’re serious about mastering a language. I saw other cheaper version of the same software but can't vouch for them because I never tried them. I also read some statistic online and it turns out that the language is spoken by over 400 people world wide, it’s the 3rd most spoken language in the world.
It helped me tremendously and especially here in Texas, where there is so many Spanish speakers. You feel like you’re part of the community, whenever I get a chance I make sure to show off my Spanish. Even if the Spanish speaker switches to English, I still insist on speaking Spanish, because it’s just too fun!
